DENTURES
We have a range of denture treatments on offer including both full and partial dentures, whatever you need to get your smile back!
We assess each patient individually to find the perfect blend of discreet, natural appearance and comfort.
You’ll be amazed how natural your dentures feel, you’ll forget you’re even wearing them.
In addition to making and fitting your perfect dentures, we also advise on cleaning and storage, repair broken dentures and can
“trouble shoot” issues with existing dentures such as pain, change in fit, looseness etc.
FILLINGS
Tooth decay hurts and the longer you leave a sore tooth, the worse it’ll get and the more work will need to be done to repair it.
No-one looks forward to fillings but we’ll make the procedure quick and painless, getting you smiling again in no time.
We also make sure we act as soon as we detect a problem which means you suffer less pain as a result of holes in your teeth.
We offer a full range of different filling materials and will discuss the options with you so you make the right choice for you.
Different filling materials wear differently, look different and have different costs associated so there’s no “one size fits all” option..
EXTRACTIONS
Where possible we will always try to save your natural tooth, but there are times (for example where you have extra teeth or impacted wisdom teeth) that we have to take one of more teeth out of your mouth, this is called an extraction and people often believe that this is a lot scarier than it actually is.
We’ll always make sure you have adequate anaesthetic to take care of any possible pain, then we gently manipulate the tooth, applying pressure to loosen it away from the gum so that when the time comes to take it out it causes minimal disruption to your gum tissue.
CROWN AND BRIDGES
Crowns (sometimes referred to as dental caps by the general public) and bridges are used if you have a weak tooth or are missing
one or more teeth.
A crown sits over a tooth that may have been broken or weakened and serves to return the tooth to its former strength
and natural shape.
We also offer metal free crowns and bridges which are strong and look more like your own teeth.
If you are missing one or more teeth, a bridge may be fitted to stop the surrounding teeth from moving out of place and will be
anchored by one or more crowns to restore the appearance and function.
For crowns in the back of the mouth, we offer hard wearing metal based crowns where an alloy “thimble” is placed over the tooth
and then aesthetic dental ceramic is applied to make the crown look like the natural teeth. Front teeth require a metal free approach
to mimic the light reflecting and transmitting properties of your natural teeth.
